ABSOLUTELY!!! Unlike city, corporate & church leagues, all you need is youself. You can register as an Individual (Indy) to compete in any of our sports leagues, and we'll take care of finding you a team. Of course, after the first season you play, it's likely that you'll know enough people to return with a set roster for the next season.

ABSOLUTELY!!! We are a SOCIAL club 1st and a sports club 2nd. Our leagues are designed for all levels of skill. Of course, some people are more competitive than others, but as we've continued to grow, we've opened many of our sports into various competitive divisions in order to best accommodate everyone's desired level of competition.

Sure. Missing games is never a problem unless your team is expecting you to show up and you don't. We ask all players to be responsible in their attendance, and just let their team know if they'll be missing a game(s) so that the team can be sure to have enough players each week.

Well, ( spoiler alert) it will rain. And usually 20 minutes before game time. :) We we will email and text you as soon as we know we will be cancelling - often after 4pm on game day, once the City has made their Code Red decision to close the fields or not. But it varies. Sometimes the City posts a Code Yellow and we have to drive out to the fields to evaluate ourselves. Other times, if it's still raining, and it's not obviously a rainout we won't know until it stops. As soon as we know, we'll immediately let you all know, so please wait to hear from us rather than calling or emailing to ask if we're playing. How do we decide? Many factors go into our canceling games but forecast is usually not one of them. Sometimes we get torrential rain in one part of town and not a drop in other parts of town. Other things like: How much rain have we had lately? What temperatures are we experiencing/how fast can the fields dry? Sometimes that's an hour and sometimes it'll take several days. If you look out your window and see even a small puddle in the street, the fields probably aren't dry. Sometimes it's the end of the year and the fields are about to close for months, so we may play on a really cold date in Fall that, were it Summer, we wouldn't. Sometimes if we don't finish that last game of the night, it'll delay the end of the season by 1-2 weeks, so we may try to push through. Certain sports have different thresholds for canceling. Bare feet in beach volleyball and aluminum softball bats don't react well to colder temps, while football is usually on, regardless of the temperature. So, a lot goes into these decisions. Please just bear in mind that we understand you all want to play your games, and we want you to play your games. Canceling isn't something we take lightly and we will always try to get the games in if we can, but if it's in the best interest of the league to cancel- all factors considered- we will have to do that. A: Well, that is a constantly changing number, but we have close to 30,000 people participating in TRI SPORTS activities, and of that, we are about a 50/50 ratio M/F. Almost all of our members are between 21 & 45, and the median/mean age is 30 years. While we don't have a cutoff age, and many of our participants are 40+, most are under 40. We see 5,000 unique faces every week for our sports leagues.

Once the full season schedule is published, requests may not be honored.

We don't have any formal "meetings" to attend, but our social events are a great way to meet people and see what we're about. There's no pressure here. No membership fees to pay. We're very laid back, and we hope that you'll feel comfortable enough to return for future trips, parties, and sports!
